My mom stepped on Baby today, Baby give a very sharp bark and step back.... So sad

After mom stepped on Baby, I find Baby limping. He refused to let us carry him and for the rest of the day he sat at one location quietly. He didnt bother to walk at all. When I throw a ball, he didnt bother to catch at all.

Should I take him to the vet and let the vet examine him.
